Citi Merchant Offers has quietly become the dark horse of card-linked deals. While Amex Offers gets the spotlight and Chase Offers plays it safe, Citi keeps dropping targeted Uber and Uber Eats credits that actually move the needle — if you're selected.
The latest batch includes three core variations:
- $10 back on any Uber ride — no minimum spend. An $8 ride becomes free.
- $5 back on $15+ Uber — 33% return on a $15 trip.
- $10 back on $25+ Uber Eats — 40% back on a $25 order.
A 9/22/26 update adds a fourth: $10 back on $30+ Uber. The fine print on the main offer page still reads "Valid through 11/30/22," while the update notes "Valid until 10/31/2026." Citi's offer expiration dates have a habit of being fluid — check your account for the specific terms on your enrolled offer.
All versions are targeted. Log into your Citi account on desktop or the mobile app, navigate to Merchant Offers, and see what shows up. Business cards are excluded — personal cards only.
The real play is stacking. SimplyMiles frequently runs parallel Uber and Uber Eats offers (typically 5-10% back or flat bonuses). Since these are different programs — one a statement credit, the other miles — they both trigger on the same transaction. A $25 Uber Eats order could net you $10 from Citi plus 500-1,000 AAdvantage miles from SimplyMiles. That's a 40-50% effective discount before you even factor in portal bonuses.
Two catches: no Uber One subscription offer this round, and you must enroll before the ride or order posts. Add the offer, then pay with that specific Citi card. Statement credits typically post within a few business days.
Worth checking every couple of weeks. Citi refreshes these more often than they get credit for, and the Uber stack is one of the few merchant offers that consistently pays out at a rate worth your attention.
