National Car Rental’s ONE TWO FREE promotion is active for rentals between April 6 and June 7, 2026. Emerald Club members earn one free rental day for every two qualifying rentals of two or more consecutive days when booking a midsize car or larger. To participate, create a free Emerald Club account and register for the promotion here before your first qualifying rental.
Free days earned through the promotion must be used by December 31, 2026. Rentals outside the April 6 - June 7 window do not count, even if you're registered. Eligible rentals must occur after registration or April 6, whichever is later.
How Rentals Convert to Free Days
- 2-7 consecutive paid days = 1 eligible rental
- 8-11 days = 2 eligible rentals
- 12-15 days = 3 eligible rentals
- 16-19 days = 4 eligible rentals
- 20-23 days = 5 eligible rentals
- 24+ days = 6+ eligible rentals
For example: A 22-day rental counts as 5 eligible rentals (earning 2 free days), while a 3-day rental counts as 1 eligible rental. Combine multiple rentals to reach thresholds faster.
Using Free Days
- Apply free days to base rate charges (excludes taxes, fees, and add-ons)
- Max 3 free days per rental (for rentals of 3+ days)
- Cannot combine with Program Free Days or other discounts
- Redeem through your Emerald Club dashboard or at the rental counter
This promotion works best for travelers with multiple upcoming rentals. Prioritize National for extended trips to maximize eligible rentals, then use accumulated free days for future high-cost rentals like holidays or weekend getaways. Free days cannot be combined with other discounts and do not cover taxes, fees, or add-ons.
